紀(jì)念廣場(chǎng)區(qū)為場(chǎng)地內(nèi)面向中山一路一側(cè)的區(qū)域，是主要的公共活動(dòng)區(qū)域。該區(qū)域在功能上是服務(wù)周邊居民公共活動(dòng)的場(chǎng)地，也是服務(wù)游覽人群紀(jì)念巴將軍活動(dòng)的場(chǎng)地。由于使用空間的限制，現(xiàn)巴將軍墓缺少可供大量人群進(jìn)行祭拜、紀(jì)念、文教活動(dòng)的場(chǎng)地，所在紀(jì)念廣場(chǎng)區(qū)在功能上對(duì)現(xiàn)狀不足進(jìn)行功能上的補(bǔ)充，與現(xiàn)巴將軍墓形成整體。
場(chǎng)地內(nèi)設(shè)有兩處配套商業(yè)建筑，并結(jié)合配套商業(yè)布置有休息平臺(tái)，這既有利于提升游覽者的休息體驗(yàn)，也使得場(chǎng)地能夠留得住游覽者，能夠保住人氣。而在廣場(chǎng)的主體區(qū)域，以大面積公共活動(dòng)鋪裝場(chǎng)地為主，為附近居民和外來(lái)游客提供集散空間和集中活動(dòng)場(chǎng)地，便于開(kāi)展日常活動(dòng)和節(jié)假日紀(jì)念活動(dòng)。
廣場(chǎng)區(qū)域以燈帶和線型鋪裝為主要景觀物，以自由布置的燈帶引導(dǎo)視線，將人群引導(dǎo)向巴將軍墓方向，同時(shí)增加場(chǎng)地的吸引力，并提升整個(gè)區(qū)域的活力。
雕塑為市民呈現(xiàn)巴國(guó)文化與巴將軍的忠義精神；安靜休息區(qū)提供相對(duì)私密、安靜休息空間；紀(jì)念廣場(chǎng)區(qū)主題統(tǒng)一，紀(jì)念古代中國(guó)璀璨的傳承文化，同時(shí)為廣場(chǎng)的形象展示；休閑活動(dòng)區(qū)是集休閑、健身、娛樂(lè)為一體的綜合活動(dòng)空間。
